Unlocked iPhone 3G cost announced in India
August 12th, 2008 | by Gizmo |Looks the much awaited iPhone cost is announced in India. The 8GB model will cost Rs.32,000 (US$ 750) and the 16GB variant will cost Rs.37,000 (US$ 860). The iPhone will be launched on Aug 22 in India. But they will be available only from the Vodafone and Bharati Airtel outlets. It will not be available with the Apple Stores and its dealers across the country.

But there are no information on the rate plans yet. Mostly there will not be any discount if the iPhone is purchased with a GPRS plan as the carriers have shown disinterest to sell the device with a contract.
